In seeing numerous clients in private practice it has become evident how mental and emotional health can be significantly impacted by poor lifestyle choices, such as how well we eat, move and breathe. As a result, it is vital to treat the whole person and not only the specific issue that brings a person to therapy. The mind, body and spirit are considered in order to promote wholeness, wellness and healing in therapy. Feeling balanced and prioritizing ourselves from the inside out can provide a state of stability achieved by the support of therapy which then allows the ability to manage life stressors best and to engage fully with others. At Balanced Waters Therapy we utilize mostly a Cognitive Behavioral model integrated with a focus on the physical, emotional, social, spiritual and environmental influences experienced.
