About Kimberly

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Lic #39361) providing Individual, Couples and Family Psychotherapy. I obtained a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Sociology and an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from California State University, 

Dominguez Hills. 

Prior to licensure I worked with children of all ages in school settings, as well as children and families in foster care, residential treatment and juvenile probation. 

In 2010, I decided to implement my years of experience and expertise with adults, teens and families and transition into private practice.  As a result I have worked with people from all walks of life who come from diverse life experiences, gender identities, professions, cultural and faith beliefs. 

Beginning in 2015 I began focusing my Continuing Education Hours on the connection between mental health, food, mood, neuroscience and how our body manages trauma including a current certification as an Integrative Mental Health Professional. 

I am married with two adult kids. When not seeing clients, I enjoy spending time at the beach, lake or river with family and friends. I also spend time reading, walking or doing yoga.
